Q:We purchase precut lumber so I setup the inventory for the items to have 0 Cut Time, and 0 Waste. Even with "Cut Time, and Waste" box set at 0 I am still getting time added under the Times Tab for Cutoff Saw.
A:Crate Pro will assume if a record is created that a task is being performed. In this case, a person (assumed to be the sawyer) still has to select pieces of wood and do something with them therefore an estimated time will be applied. There is more control now in specifying how the time is determined.
To bypass time completely, create an Equipment record and set the desired times to zero.
