In Preferences - Pricing tab you have an option to add a mark-up to labor for Crate &/or Pallets. See attached image.

Markup in these field are calculated as:

((Price*(1 + this Markup)) * (1 + Customer Markup))

Customer markup is added in the Customer record,

Crate Pro will calculate Markups IN ADDITION TO hourly profits set in the Billing fields. Mos business will either set Hourly Billing Rates OR Markup but not both. Roughly expressed, C

rate Pro will calculate profits as ((Hourly Billing Rates - Hourly Cost) * (1 + this Markup) * (1 + Customer Markup))

In the design Crate Pro uses actual amount of the material used plus the Waste Factor then it multiplies by the cost which is set in Preferences - Pricing for the entire material family or for the individual material cost based on what you enter in Inventory for that material.
